Low E glass

Low E stands for low emissivity. Low E glass has an invisible coating that suppresses radiant heat from passing through the glass. Thus, increasing the energy efficiency of the glass. Just as you put insulation in your attic to keep your house warmer in winter and cooler in the summer, this glass coating acts as an insulator.
